Super Bowl LIX Recap - AdSerts, Inc.

Whether you’re a fan of one of the teams playing, or just there for the snacks, everyone can agree Super Bowl ads are not to be missed. It’s been five days since Super Bowl LIX. Let’s recap notable advertisements that took over your screens throughout the night. These delivered a combination of humor, star power, and emotional storytelling to engage viewers like you.

SquareSpace’s ‘A Tale as Old as Websites’: This wowed audiences, combining the timeless landscapes of Ireland with the clean, modern visuals of SquareSpace’s website templates. Building websites from scratch isn’t easy…and neither was understanding this commercial’s dialogue. In spite of that, their messaging came through loud and clear. The commercial was a hit among creatives and entrepreneurs, including members of our team.

In today’s world, individuals and businesses need responsive websites that produce results. While you’ll never catch Adserts using pre-templated websites, you will find us providing custom branded imagery, interactive and engaging content, and analytics to help you with your vision.

Meta’s Ray-Ban AI Glasses ad: This ad, featuring Chris (Hemsworth), Chris (Pratt), and Kris (Jenner), responded quickly to current art headlines to use them as a $6.2m punchline. The quick response theme carries through, with the actors using real-time information provided by their glasses to the ability to react to the situations they’re in.

As a business, being able to quickly react can be the differentiator between you and your competitors. A little nod to your customer base by putting them “in the know” makes them feel connected to you and builds customer loyalty.

Honorable mentions include:

Häagen-Dazs No So Fast, Not So Furious: Feeling nostalgic? Hâagen-Dazs’ ad features Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez cruising along the coast while savoring ice cream bars instead of their usual high-speed antics. Ludacris makes a surprise appearance, urging them to speed up, but they choose to enjoy the moment. The ad highlights the joy of slowing down and appreciating life's simple pleasures.

Nike's 'So Win' Ad: Nike returned to the Super Bowl spotlight with a powerful black-and-white commercial celebrating women's sports. The ad showcased prominent female athletes, emphasizing empowerment and breaking barriers in athletics.

This short list of commercials displayed the creativity and impact that Super Bowl ads strive for, leaving lasting impressions on audiences. As brands continue to push creative boundaries, the advertising world eagerly awaits what next year’s Super Bowl will bring!
